K-12 LessonLink

Approval Process for New Resources

When a user adds a new resource to the K-12 LessonLink database, an email message is immediately sent to a subject specialist librarian to review the entry to ensure that the entry meets the standards for K-12 LessonLink.

This process includes checking for spelling errors in the entry, reviewing the website to make sure that the content is appropriate, and reviewing the offerings of the website such as available lesson plans, field trip opportunities, and other key features.

Additionally, we review all user comments to ensure that the feedback given is appropriate, is not abusive towards other users, and is relevant to the overall purpose of the website.

We also review all of our resources on a regular basis to ensure that they are up-to-date and are being regularly maintained.

The internet is a vast landscape of educational resources just waiting to be harvested. While we are constantly looking for new resources, we rely heavily on user submissions to help us in this effort. All registered users are able to submit new resources for approval. If you would like to create a user account, please go to our login page and fill out the appropriate information.
